can anyone recommend a good kit for my second brew which i will be starting soon now that my first is in secondry

Any Woodfordes kit,but change the yeast for a Safale-04 or Gervins Ale yeast,as the yeasts supplied with kits are only 6gram sachets instead of 11gram for the Safale-04 or Gervin Ale yeast.Also the quality of kit yeasts are another topic for conversation :shock:

You can get all the yeasts, including the liquid ones, from hop and grape.

What are the other HBS you have found in Nottingham? My folks live near there and I'm looking to top up a few bits in the next few weeks, whilst I have a bit of time in the UK.

This shop is great and it stocks the Safale-04 as I bought some last week, they have Nottingham also but unsure on the gervin
