just wondering if any of you guys arrange meetings and stuff to discuss homebrewing, i know this site is very informative but i think the introduction of face to face meetings or informal socials would be great

A groups of us from darn sarf have just started up a brewclub in Hampshire!

The Craft Brewing Association lists some local groups

Edit: There's a group in Beeston, Notts.

Predictably none near me. Damn kettering. I'm considering joining the CBA. I asked for a leaflet, but they didn't send it me!

still don't like the term "craft" brewing. was trying to explain this to a few mates at work. its like saying comic collectors are graphic novel enthusiasts. ok it is a craft etc and these pages prove how much skill is involved.

My mum always told me not to meet up with people I met on the internet.....something about it being in breach of my Sex Offender Order :!:

But seriously - I'm thinking of joining a few like minded enthusiasts, and in the absebce if anything else was thinking of signing up to the CAMRA: has anyone here got any experience of them? I know they're not really home brewers, but I'd imagine they like a few bevvies. And after all, it's the DRINKING that I prefer to the BREWING. Alternatively, perhaps I might just join something called A.A as I've heard they like a brew

Its a small world isnt it!The very same man dropped of my 2 Brambling Cross hop plants only 2 weeks ago \:D/
He seems a very knowledgable person in the world of homebrewing.
How do you know of him?
