The refrigeration issue might be a problem, at the moment I don't have one suitable for a keg, unless I leave the milk on the doorstep which doesn't incite domestic harmony.

May have to have a trawl around the local second hand / house clearance places and see whats going cheap.
To force carbonate a pilsner type lager seriously, you need only take the pressure to 16 psi at 12º C and hold it for a week or so 8)
I was joking about the 100 psi thing :wall
If you tried that you would end up with a lager foam fire extinguisher

I meant to add "what pressure would you reduce to in order to serve". I don't think I dare open a tap with 100psi in the cornie.

Because I rack "bright" from a secondary I have to force carbonate my bitters anyway. It goes against the grain as I started brewing to produce good "real" ales of which there is an absolute lack in my locals. And now here I am force carbonating - but the ease of use of the cornie makes it worthwhile.

I suppose the best thing is to give it a go and see what flows at the end. problem is I won't know if it's any good
