Do You Find Brupak's Very Fizzy?

I've made a Black Moor, Fixby Gold, IPA and Kirkburton Ale from the Brupak's range, and one thing they all had in common was that they were fizzy as hell.

I actually had to ditch the last of my IPA because I couldn't be bothered nursing it whilst pouring.

Any way, I learned from mistakes (or so I thought) and primed my Kirkburton with a quarter spoon of glucose.

The result? Still fizzy, far too fzzy for my liking. I mean, I prime my Coopers with a quarter spoon and they turn out just as I like them, but the Brupaks just seem to go bubble mad.

Anyone else find this with Brupak's?

They're lovely ales, btw, but bonkers when they get a bit of sugar.

I had a completely over-carbed Fixby Gold a couple of months back. Not sure where I went wrong with it. Not happy as the kits aren't cheap and everyone raves about the FG!

My assumption is that they are slow to finish fermenting due to the complex sugars, I always have this issue with all malt kits but the brupaks ones especially - I've always found em very foamy when bottled as well. Maybe leaving em in the bucket a while longer before bottling might help.

Drinking: Coopers Euro Lager, Coopers Dark Ale, Hambleton Bard Amber Export, Coopers Aussie Pale Ale, Almondbury Old, Coopers Stout, Wherry w/Chinook

Thanks Dunc, I always assumed it was my priming.

Gotcha: Brupaks = leave 'em alone!
