OB = Oxford Brewer :D

Goldings are an aroma hop like Bramling only Brambling are less common so it's an unusual flavour i think Goldings are a little less strong (lower AA alpha acid) so you may not need as much..then again it may be so little you need not worry. All i can say is from my own experience..my mate dame round who also HB's and has reguarly done GEA tried my dry hopped version with Bramling and he almost fell off his chair saying that it was one of the best beers he'd ever tried. As with all things HB the best drink in the world is the one YOU enjoy, if other people like it thats a bonus. Experiment see what you like and most of all ask questions here, there are loads of guys here i rely on, big time!

I've not mentioned that i've dry hopped in my sig fo GEA the WezErection that you can see is my first All Grain brew which i did at Easter. Ressurection = WezErection :D

ah ha i was assuming, wrongly, that your wezerection easter ale was an altered GEA by wez hence the ressurection

how complex was the first all grain brew?

Hi there

Sorry if this sounds a bit stupid (newbie here) but, are the hops that come vacuum packed sterile or not?

would dropping unboiled hops in a brew cause an infection?

Also, Iam thinking of doing brewferm's triple with light spraymalt with T-58 yeast, what hops would you advise for this brew?

thanks

Just read through this thread and was going to ask the same question about dry hopping...so thanks for the answer DaaB :D

jaytee1, the answer to your question on retrieving the hop bag (as read on the forum) would be to tie it to some fishing line and suspend the bag in the beer by trapping the line under the lid of the keg.
