Muntons Gold Pilsner

Post by Barn Stormer » Fri Aug 02, 2013 7:50 pm

Hi
Only my 3rd brew so still learning!! Put a Muntons Gold Pilsner together at about 10am this morning and got it sitting at about 20c. Pitched the yeast at 22c there is no sign of anything happening. Is it too early to be worrying? Should I leave it until tomorrow morning and see whats happening, stir gently or re pitch extra yeast? I have a packet of Muntons Gold available. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks
BS :=P

Leave it be till the morning. Unless you pitched a starter the yeast needs to grow before vigorously fermenting. Check with the hydrometer too :)

Cheers,

Sam
Cheers and gone,
