I can get Muntons spraymalt at £2.75 for 500g or John bull Malt Extract at £4.95 for 1.6kg can, if their any difference in a brew except for thr price?

Depends on how you plan to use / store them.
The conversion between the 2 I believe is 1kg Liquid Malt Extract equals 800gms of Dry / Spray Malt Extract. The difference is made up of water.
If you are looking to open a can of LME it is better to use all up at the time.
DME will store easier as long as you keep it dry.
