Art of brewing online store

Post by mrcpea » Tue Feb 17, 2015 4:27 pm

Hi,
I see these do free shipping over £49 orders.
www.art-of-brewing.co.uk

I was thinking of ordering a couple of kits and some spray malt as their prices are very good.
Anyone ordered from them, and are they reliable? Reason I ask is that I emailed them to see when their coopers stout will be back in stock, and haven't had a reply yet.

Cheers

Richard

Just looked at the site and they have some funny pricing.
It's £59.99 for a 25kg sack of pale crushed malt grain, but if you could buy 8 and 1/3 3kg packs, you get the same amount of grain but for £56.58.
Usually when you buy in bulk it's cheaper :?

I've ordered off them many times without problems.
i actually raised pretty much the same question myself a year or 2 back,
i was concerned as their website looks quite amateurish !

Considering Get 'Er Brewed does 25kg for £18 +£4.99P&P, asking £60 is way OTT.

Many thanks for the replies.
I was only really wanting to order beer kits and bags of malt, to which their prices seem OK.

Cheers

Richard.

As far as I can see, GEB is £26.10 + £3.99... which is slightly cheaper than their previous price of £29. Am I being dim and missing a section on their website?

£18 is a very good price.. I'm just about to buy my first big sack of MO so I'm on the lookout for a bargain. [-o< (Hopefully somewhere that has Citra in stock.)
