Weird tastes

I've read many posts mentioning the different tastes/flavours that can be expected if brews have been infected or the water used was untreated. If I remember correctly these are :-

TCP - untreated water
Vinegar - bacterial infection

The reason I mention this is because my Muntons Midas Touch has been in King Keg now for almost 3 weeks. It is starting to clear but still has a liquorice flavour to it.

I'm not certain what it is supposed to taste like, but as its not vinegar like nor TCP like I assume its OK ?
