Hi all

I've been away for a week and not had chance to keg this so I did a SG check this evening with a sneaky half pint and this kit is great :D

I'm gonna contact Norm and see if he's got a Corny cos I need to keg this now!

Here are some pics but bear in mind the glass pics look flat cos they have not been primed/conditioned.

Look how clear the lager is!

Sorry for blurred images, I've had a few pints of my smugglers special

Cheers

Looks superb!

I like the idea of making a nice sparkling light brew for the summer (hence Great Eastern), and this one looks so clear and rewarding - the only problem is that I don't like 90% of lagers.

If I could make something that tased more ale-ish but was still a lager of sorts, like say, Samuel Smith's Pure Brewed or old Newquay Steam, I might consider it, but I'd be stupid not to think I might end up with a keg of, well, lager :)

Also, with the weather (and shed) warming up, I have nowhere cold enough to clear it :?

Hi all

I thought I'd have a sneak pint this afternoon to see how it's going.

After the last piccies I picked up a Corny from Norm and transferred my brew into it with 85G of Glucose. I conditioned it for 5 days and then put the whole Corny in my Samsung American Side by Side Fridge set at 7C which is in the garage!

I injected it with Co2 yesterday and it is at 14PSI

The brew is clearer than ever and tastes lovely, look at the bubbles :D

Mmmmm...

I'm not a lager drinker usually but I definately recommend this Cooper's kit :o

Cheers

Looks fantastic there Graham 8)

Now all you need is some Tacos and some chilli related goodness, and you'll be south of the border.

Had to settle for 'Hairy Bikers' Meatballs in a tomato style stew cooked in the 'Tagine' with fried eggs on top sprinkled with fresh flat leaf parsley!

Very nice indeed.

I washed it down with 2 more pints of the above :D
