I've had a lovely time with young Judy this evening!

Despite the stress of the BrewCam, she's turned out lovely!

Woohoo, result - be happy indeed!

(I once saw one with a mini-Punch&Judy show on his hat outside The Duke of York on Upper Street, islington on St. George's day. Showing off really.)

Has anyone seen the biker Morris dancers, all dressed in black. Rock hard!

Best morrismen I've seen are the Smiffs (Hammersmith). They're really energetic and when I saw them the accordion player was explaining in between dances what the next song was and making jokes and stuff.

It looks great fun, I must say I could see myself doing it one day!

Mummers... hmmm, hard to explain.

They are like Morris troops, often double up in fact, but with deeper rural, pagan tradition. Often dance 'in green' (Green Man), or blacked up (especially at Christmas), or encased in wheat and barley (harvest), or even in animal costume / heads.

Something to behold - they appreciate payment in ale, naturally :)
