Muntons Beerkit enhancer.

Right, I've got one of these knocking about and Im thinking of using it in the
" Pikey Special Reserve"

( see here - viewtopic.php?t=5920)

The last time I used one in a youngs kit, it made it taste like sh*te.

So I was wondering if 500g of this and 500g of sugar would be softer on the palate. :lol:

Just a question Daab, why do you prefer 75% Spray malt and 25% sugar. I tend to use 100% spray malt. Do you reckon its better your way, if so I will do it that way and save pennies.

As i understand Spray Malt adds less alcohol per gram than sugar. I think they idea behind Daabs suggestion is the spray malt is for flavour and the remaining sugar is for alchohol and wont affect the flavour.

It's there to make up the % alchohol the malt doesnt fully add
