Just purchased an Abbey. I seem to have an abundance of Nectar points that convert nicely to Amazon gift cards!

Sold my rig to build a new one then halfway through that we did a impromptu house move! So had no time and funds to complete.

BUT, the build had started again so hopefully I'll be brewing again soon.

Just bottled a Grand Cru, which is conditioning. Two weeks prior I put my bottled Diabolo in the garage now the wait begins. I also have the Triple and Ambiorix to do, hopefully before Xmas. As you can see I'm a fan of the Brewferm kits. Touch wood not had a bad one yet..

Hi Orval, I was so impressed with the Brewferm in terms of prep and bottling quickness that I ordered the Abbey style not long after. I am planning to not touch either the Ambiorix or the Abbey until this time next year. I have about 400 other pints to get through until then! haha

This is my 2nd batch of Grand Cru, the first was brewed in February this year, made with white candy sugar. Similar taste to Duval but a bit darker in colour, my best BrewFerm kit to date. I am trying to build up a stock of Brewferm Belgium beers to enabled them to age, as everyone who brews these kits say they get better the longer you leave them. The leaving is the difficult bit. My only issues I have had with the kits is carbonation, a triple I brewed tasted good but was not carbonated enough.

I think they are great kits.I have an abbey which is 3 month bottle conditioned now.Its for me and my father inlaw for the new year.I`m so tempted to sample now cos they look ruby red when i hold them to the light plus i`m of to Belgium next week so i`m thinkin i might as well. Also i gotta keep 2 for Pinto on here in a bottle swap for one of his samichclaus clones. Also bottled a Diabolo 3 weeks back and once i start on them i can`t stop =P~ I somtimes struggle to get them below 1.016 but they never dissapoint.
