I wouldn't chuck it just yet, there are things you can do if fermentation sticks (see the sticky in the kits forum).

You could go down the yeast nutrient / dry beer enzyme route that could well sort the situation. I'm no expert but are you sure that the final gravity isn't supposed to be that high? Beers with loads of body, in my experience, tend to have a higher final gravity.

Please bear in mind that I have little experience of either brewing otr drinking Belgian beer so I could be talking utter arse.

Personally I'd keep the beer and try some yeast nutrient and or dry beer enzyme before throwing the towel in and flushing the lot down the loo.

hey,

yes its supposed to have a final of 1010 so its quite a bit off. but agreed I have tried rousing the yeast, adding a tiny but more malt, repitched and all the usuals but so far no luck, ill keep an eye on it, the new yeat might just be taking its time!

My Gold did a similar stop short. I pitched some more yeast and although there was little activity, just a few bubbles. Eventually it got down to 1012 and it's perfectly acceptable.
