I like this strategy. I made 2 different brews, splitting a wherry kit into 2 10 liter fermentors. After the intial fermentation happened and the krausen collapsed I tipped in the polish Lowizc syrup into each which was on offer for £1 per bottle at Tesco. I put a blackcurrant in one and a raspberry in the other and topped the fermentors up to 9.5 liters. Its the second time I've added the raspberry (which turned out great) and the first for the blackcurrant. I will bottle in about a week to let them condition.

I made a Wilkos Stout with Polish Cherry Syrup, Batch Primed with Cherry Syrup, AB FAB! Lovely Pint! :D :D

Just checked the gravity again on day 11 and it's still at 1.014.

I'm going to chill it down for a few days before kegging in attempt to lose that murky appearance.

It tastes nice and hoppy, sort of citrus piney and malty.
