Yes I do. I will do a taste test with pics this weekend. Unless I break my 'no drinking in the week' rule before then - which is a distinct possibility.

Last year Wales sent me his 'Competition Brew'. At about the same time, I started my brewing hiatus, owing to getting some work done in the flat. The hiatus lasted longer than I anticipated, and having promised him a review, the bottle stayed at the back of my fridge pending my return.

Well, I'm back, and it's time for the test. Here's the bottle, recently extracted from my fridge:

And poured into a glass:

Lovely and clear:

Gratuitous additional shot:

This is superb. Nice tightly packed head which expands a bit as the temperature rises, lovely malty flavour with a hoppy aftertaste (no surprise there. It is a WA brew after all!)

Devilishly moorish...but I'll have to make do with the one.

Lovely drop this, Wales. Hope it did well in the competition!

Just like you said EB, It`s Bloody Lovely Mun! :D
I should have kept a few more! No Bloody chance of that is there! :D #-o

If I can make Beer this good with a tin opener and a Kettle and a few additions in 1 Hour, why I am I wasting 5hrs 45mins of my time
doing bloody BIAB as I did Yesterday? :D #-o #-o
Does my Bloody Head in Mun!

It's the time commitment that puts me off going all grain. A kit's just so easy, and as you say, yields good results.
