Amateur question! How thick is this head of yeast? (Krausen?)

In the later pictures of you bottling and barrelling, there is a scummy mark round the vessel. I suppose it's about that thick, is it?

Looking good Chris! Bottles even matching the tiles, nice touch.

Did you use computer paper and milk for those labels?

A week later moved the barrel out to the garage and sampled a quick half.

Absolutely amazing!!!!

The flavour and smoothness has made me speechless and that's not even leaving it to condition yet.

Very happy and so far the barrel seems to be a big benefit.....

and look at the head on this.

If its anything like my coopers IPA it will get worse before it gets better.

Managed to find a retailer who still has some of this left so I just ordered two tins!

Best kit I have ever made, just a shame it wont be made by John Bull anymore.
