2. Either, but the Dark makes it extra good IMHO... adds more of the 'roast' flavour, and it turns out as black as a gorilla's goolies.

3. You want some priming, don't overdo it though... 4g per litre is okay. It adds a little sharpness, and helps form the head when pouring. It also prevents oxidation, the action of the yeast helps scavenge any remaining oxygen.
I bottle mine, it works fine. The problem with kegs is that, unless you have some way of topping up the CO2, the carbonation of the last pint will be completely different to the first. With bottles, you do get consistancy.
