All went well.

Only a slight issue with the tops of 2 bottles breaking but overall I was pretty happy.

Took about an hour and a half to clean, rinse (need to make a no rinse solution), then bottle 37 bottles overall.

Had a little taste and.......... well............ it tasted just like flat lager!!! Woo Hoo!

Now 1 week in the warm then transferred to the outhouse for 3 weeks.

Can't wait!

There still time to get another brew on for Christmas though.
Indeed, off to Wilkos on sunday either for an Australian Lager or a Scottish Export. Not decided yet.

Need more bottles though!

Hi mdex, might be a bit late now, but why don't you use brewmart in Sheffield, I don't know where about you are in Sheffield, but their address is: 2 Abbey Lane, Woodseats, Sheffield. S8 0BL, they look good and cheap too :D
http://www.thebrewmart.com/
PS. I have no connection with them, but, it's surely better to use your LHBS, than giving Wilkos you hard earned :D

Thats where I have bought all my kit so far but they aren't open sundays and I can't get today.

Also struggle to get in the week due to work. Makes wilko's an easy alternative.

I have exactley the same probs, Brewmart ( the one in Hillsborough) is only 5 mins from me but due to work its often closed when I can get there, so Wilko's works out great, although still manage to spend too much in there as yesterday I decided I needed another FV, more kits, a capper to bottle some(as I usually barrel), and I decided to make a nice strawberry wine for crimbo!!
