 Christ all bloody mighty! It was agony just reading that! That's So bloody accurate, and I KNOW the unimaginable agony of a prolapsed disc too. That's what answered this niggling little question for me; " Having never actually screamed since I was a kiddie. How would I sound if I screamed now, as a full grown man? " Christ! I found out! I screamed and screamed and screamed too! I wouldn't wish That sort of agony on many people!

Anyway, Thanks for my share of the well wishes, lads. Appreciated. Fortunately, mine didn't manage to get the full drop on me today and it Has been pretty much a life long, recurring nightmare for me too. Seems I was born without that little sticking out bit on the back of one of my vertebrae? I suppose the muscle there has nothing to hang onto then, so it slides adrift that much easier?

What ever. I've now come to learn the Benefits of Taking Pain Killers. I used to think they'd mask the pain of doing something else silly and lead me to making it worse. Not so. They stop the pain and so allow the muscles to relax and slide back to where they should be,

That said, the initial pair of Nurfen have worn off now and I'm uncomfortable. Take another now. But " Uncomfortable "? So what?! I'm able to move and not screaming the place down. Nor do I expect I'll be laid up for a week and on a stick for two more. Been there!

As I always say; " Woman bleed. Men have backs. Evolutions biggest cock up! ".

Get that Coopers cooking tomorrow! I'll be fine, I'm sure

Back still not working - hoping the painkillers will kick in soon otherwise might have to go to the quack.

On the plus side the Stout that caused the problem in the first place is bubbling away like a good'un, the head on it has already hit the lid - but luckily it hasn't overflowed and gone all over the floor like some I've seen on the forum. Fingers crossed it won't overflow and is ready to keg next weekend
