yeah im lucky like that?!?!? #-o

Problem is, its now flat as a pancake. Dont get me wrong it tastes great, the flavours are great, its lovely and quite a strange phenomenon coz you do just keep tasting it. Its not like Im drinking just for the sake of drinking, I just want to taste it, its great !

Once my valve is replaced will i be able to get a little fizz back? Not after much, but its currently flat flat and so a few bubbles wont go a miss?

On a similar note,

If my tap is leaking, can I simpy replace the tap and recharge with co2 to preserve?

Ollie; Ye now in the area of thin ice, mate! Fact that ye've drained it to Flat suggests there's precious little gas left in there. I'd thus reckon ye next 'Taste' could be the last one ye'd Want to taste. Be Careful!

Tragedy's notwithstanding? For chrisake get that bloody S60 (or what ever they're called - Valve) on there and give it a twist of CO. Once that's done ~ if the keg's sound ~ ye should be sailing. Only, to 'repeat'; It sounds like all the CO ye'd got into that keg has now sunk into the beer. And not 'enough' of it either. Now ye have to hope there's something left on top of the beer. Otherwise it's deadly vulnerable to air getting in and wrecking that brew. Touch that tap again and it could well be curtains

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !

Im still waitin on my valve to arrive hoping it would turn up today !

I keep injecting co2 through me faulty one but it doesnt hold it coz its knackered, but its still leaking after a good 6 or 6 hours so it must be holding some!

I guess if all else fails i'll supp as much as i can this weekend and have to set another goin !

At least I have found this out now and can fix it all before me next one !

cheers again for advice, very much appreciated

Ratboy, you could try wrapping ptfe tape round everything with a thread then gas it up and seal the faulty valve with putty or somthing similar. It might be enough to see you through till your new valve arrives. I always use ptfe tape on all my threads since having a leak on an old keg I'm reusing.

Hope it helps. If not go to plan b and neck the lot

I suggest just drinking the entire contents of the keg tonight, just in case  [-X
