'This house stinks like a brewery'!
Jus recently transferred a 5 day fermented 1.7kg Coopers Stout with 1kg light spraymalt into the keg...
Done Secondary frmentation for 3 days and just about to put it into the shed to condition and clear.
I had a sly swig of the beer earlier.
Oh my god!! It tastes like bottled guinness. No sh*tting. The keg has a float and the beer is fairly clear already. It is not even ready yet, but tastes lovely. This one is going to be another classic. Any ideas how long I should leave it in the shed for? It's about 4 degrees in there and fairly constant temp.
As my first brew in about 8 years, it is a success. Does anyone have any experience with the other Coopers kits, as I like the yeast. It is fast acting, ferments fairly dry, is reasonably flocculant and has a pleasant taste. I'm interested in their 'draught' or 'real' kits particularly...
Thanks in advance, Dave.

Cheers Daab,
Ad Astra per Aspera..
I'm off to get another one tomorrow..I'll try IPA I think.
Thanks for all the forum's advice..It has been extremely valuable, especially pitching the yeast..Mine was literally crawling up the sides of the glass after 30 mins, ready to get to work.
I'll post a pic. of a nice pint once I decide on a date for the party...
