Wherry
At the time of brewing I did not have a hydrometer but through reading this forum I have recently invested in one. I did leave the beer in primary for 14 days as per instructions of muntons microbrewery kit (http://www.redeyefrog.co.uk/40_Pint_Micro_Brewery.html). I am now brewing using a fermenting bin rather than the suggested fermentation and serving straight from the king keg.

I recently brewed a Wherry, OG 1042 FG 1017. 80g’s brewers sugar dissolved in 100ml of boiled water and zapped back to boiling point in the microwave and added to barrel, then siphoned the Wherry into the barrel and stored at 20c room temp for 6 days. Barrel moved to shed for minimum of 2 weeks @ approx 12c.
Although it only went down to 1017 it turned out well and has improved even more since the initial 2 weeks in the barrel.
I'm extremly pleased with it and would definitley do this kit again!
