Great Customer Service - The Homebrew Company Ireland
Re: Great Customer Service - The Homebrew Company
YEP - agree with above - buyer beware - been waiting 4 weeks tomorrow, since I placed my order for in stock (now out of stock goods)

Re: Great Customer Service - The Homebrew Company Ireland
Also my supplier of choice, great service and stock.
He's also a brewer himself, I think this goes some way to explain the lengths to get things right.

Ordered on 23/12/11 and cancelled my order today so ofF to local HB shop where I should have gone in the first place!
So that's a result in my opinion.

Re: Great Customer Service - The Homebrew Company Ireland
ordered everything after the cut off point Wednesday and well,we know what happened after that, but received my parcel today.
it does look like its gone through the wars....................only joking was in great condition. Slight little dint in the coopers can but nothing major.
Also had an extra bag of crushed crystal malt as promised as shaun though i might not have a crusher and ordered the wrong thing, and he would be right.
now to brew everything tomorrow morning, woohoo

Re: Great Customer Service - The Homebrew Company Ireland
I'm from Northern Ireland and this shop is great. Next day delivery every time i've ordered.
Free delivery over £70, and as it's in Ireland, I don't have to pay a load extra for it to get here like all the UK based companies.
Plus it's cheap.
If you're a kit brewer try some of their full extract kits. These are around the same price as a coopers kit + lme, but imo blow them away:

Cheers Shane!

Re: Great Customer Service - The Homebrew Company Ireland
I've used them a number of times. Prices are always keen, delivery is always fast and advised in advance by SMS, Shane is always responsive if I have questions and the cans are always dented when received
. That last one may sound like an issue but:
i) The contents are fine, dents don't matter
ii) My Mrs assumes that I've bought damaged stock and so got an extra discount. As a result I get kudos for being frugal
Happy brewing,
Ian.

Thats not the same company that I think it is, is it? are they trading again?boingy wrote:Just to clarify things, this thread is about the good service received from a company called The Homebrew Company, who are based in Ireland and have UK and Irish websites here:

The negative comments in this thread are about a different company with a very similar name that we don't discuss on these forums for the reasons explained by Jim here:
