At just over 3 weeks in the keg, I have sampled another half pint.
Nice fruity hop flavour without being overpowering, good body and head retention followed by a nice bitterness.
All seems good so far

You certainly weren't wrong, the keg didn't last long and I've now started on the bottle's that are about 2.5 month's old and it's good stuff
I'm going to think outside of the box on the hop additions for my next Wherry.

It's hard to make a direct comparison because the botles have had a nice long period of cold conditioning, but the bitterness and fruity hop flavours from the younger kegged version have obviously both mellowed a little to leave a very smooth but tasty Wherry

I kept 2 bottles of this brew back in my maturing crate, and at 5 months old this brew has only improved
It pours a tight keg-style head that never goes, and it seems to have a really nice silky body to it aswell. The flavours are also very smooth, just gutted that it's all gone now

I would definitely do another Wherry brew to the same brewlength and the same quantity of hops, but with another suitable variety, as I'm almost out of EKG.
After my latest delivery of hops (Aurora, Simcoe & Chinook), I haven't got any space left in the freezer, so must use what I've got!!
I seem to remember that the Chinook Wherry adaptation on here, is what inspired this brew, so maybe that's what I'll use next.......

Yep, that's what I think too.
I was gonna use Celeia but changed my mind as I may need them for my first full AG brew later this year

You would have been closer to the original with Celeia

I usually do all grain, but someone bought me a wherry kit as a birthday present. I've got process or challenger.. Any thoughts? I usually make an ag clone with goldings and progress 60/40 for bitterness then a large amount of styrians at the end.
I used to make this kit before I stepped across to ag, but it was so long ago I can't remember how it tastes! Might go with just 25g progress as a hop tea addition.. Hmmm

I do still have some Celeia left over, and plan to brew 1 can of Wherry as an IPA with them.
I am surprised how much flavour I got from the Celeia in my first AG brew, a lovely hop
