Hi,

Now that i have a few kits under my belt i am going to try my hand at a Hoegarden clone, and i am following the recipe above with a few changes,

Edme Superbrew Wheat Beer 40pt
500g light spraymalt
500g dextrose

10g Coriander seeds
70g Orange peel
16g saaz
16g East Kent Golding

Cannot remember what yeast i bought, but didnt want to use the one with the kit,will post it once i am home from work.

Looking forward to this one :)

Hi , the safele T-58 is an excellent yeast for this brew , and dried 20g of curaco orange pieces if your HBS has it.

No prob , heres a recipe i did in the spring x 2 = 89 500ml bottles , i drank through the summer absolutely refreshing with a slice of orange or lemon ,friends loved it .

ingredients:

1 can Muntons wheat kit 1.8kg

1.5kg Dry Wheat Spray Malt

250g dextrose

15g Coriander seed (Lightly Crushed)

20g Bitter Orange Peel (Curacoa peel)

1 Pkt of Safele T-58

Good luck with it .
