Youngs have stopped supplying Wilkinsons - looks like they are using Ritchie's for the chemicals and getting the own brand kits from elsewhere. They other stuff was cheap because they were getting rid of it to make way for the new stuff.

Yep, I figured, but nothing in my store, but never seen anything cheap in there, wouldn't surprise me if they didn't have anything to reduce. Also noticed the sugar they sell is ritchies so I think the poster on 2nd page is right.
Their own kits look decent for £10, might give one a try, noticed they said 21 days on the tin, hope they recommend people brew for 21 days would be quite good advice compared to the 7 days coopers say.

Popped into my local Wilkinsons (High Wycombe) today to take advantage of the 50% off. They had loads of stock, got myself:

2 x Spraymalt medium, 1 x Beer Enchancer, 6 x Gervin Ale Yeast, 2 x Yeast Nutrient, 2 x Bruclens Cleaner and the only Remaining Woodfordes Wherry (£18 down to £9).

So all in all spent £23.72 for £47.50 worth of stuff.

Well done Wilkos
