Tried some of this last weekend (from "Nick Next Door" - now known as The Seghill Poisoner!). Truly an Evil Brew. VERY nice, doesn't taste that strong, great hop flavour, one of the nicest homebrewed beers I've tried.... BUT it has a kick like a mule, so drink with care......

Was so impressed that I bought a kit (actually 2, and a Yorkshire Bitter). My first Evil Dog O/G was 1060, and started fermenting well. 4 days in and I've racked it into a 5 gallon wine fermenter (with airlock). Gravity now 1036, so a bit slower than I thought. Shouldn't be a problem as consensus is, it takes a fortnight to ferment out.

As already mentioned you get a huge bag of yeast with this kit. I used a starter with mine and had a good head on the brew withing 24 hours. At four days this must be the gooyest, claggiest yeast I've ever seen.... certainly different to 'standard' yeasts, or Safeale. After racking, my main fermenting bin was lined with this evil goo....

I fancy trying the other IPA they offer...Rajas Reward, as it's 'only' 4.8% Hopefully it'll be just as nice, but not quite so dangerous!
