I use Wilkos in the absence of a LHBS near Porthmadog in Wales, I'd like to think I'd use a local shop if there was one rather than paying delivery.

Done your velvet stout in normal, added dark chocolate and added chills.
Planning on doing the stout again in the near future.

Another vote here for the spray malts in more types (dark, very dark) and bigger packs (and cheaper [-o< ).

Vacuum packed hops.

Bulldog kits.

The shop near me only stocks gold crown caps is that normal? I use different colours to mark my different brews, so some added colours would be great.

Oh and lastly, plastic reseal caps http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/aca ... tural.html

Would love to see some Festival, Bulldog and Youngs Kits - even if online only.

Would be good to see some different Wilko branded kits too

Mangrove Jacks Yeast

VWP Sanitiser

More choice of spraymalt (including wheat)

Some hops (even the teabag style pellet hops would be great)

Nige seeing as you get the lager yeast thing and I'm going to be polite about this.

Supply it with Your lager kits.

Hi all --above all logged and added to the ever growing list ---I think I got the message about Lager yeast in Lager kits  and we will be feeding that back to the supplier when we meet them later this week .
I can tell you that i have seen some of the lines you have already been asking for being listed as potential inclusion into the range when we action and amendment later this year .subject to space ...so watch this space for updates as and when i get confirmation
Meantime keep the great ideas and suggestions coming and i will continue to build up your wish lists for additional consideration , its great to get feedback form our customers, =D>
cheers

some basic grains - wheat, roast barley.

vac packed hops is the biggest need - doesn't have to be anything too exciting just ekg and a few commonly used varieties.
Brewing in the badlands between Arnside and Milnthorpe.

They are over with the Jam making stuff. Got mine from Wilkos £2 (cheaper in "The Range").
spraymalt
I have seen spraymalt in the St Albans branch but not the Watford one. I guess the reason is the size of the shop. So although I would like to request the full range at every store, I can understand this probably can't happen.

Stop selling towel, ironing boards etc in your Maidenhead store... Then you'll have room for a much bigger homebrew section :D

Happy brewing,

Ian.

PS +1 for a basic range of grains and hops.

Hi wine light / tizzy mutt. You are right the size of store does tend to dictate the size of the range, however you can see from the feedback everyone is giving on additional range will help drive where space permits a bigger selection. But thanks for your feedback , you could order on line for free del to your local store any lines not stocked in Watford .....which is perhaps a solution to the problem of space vs size
Hope that helps
