Just checked their website for a few things and all the 25% notifications are now missing. Doesn't come up as a discount right the way through to validating your card details either. Is it still on instore ? I might pop down tonight, looks like it might not be through into May unless there is an error with the website promotion. (It was still on on Monday in store)
As if I needed anymore, I've just got partial to red wine, all Wilkos fault of course!

Re: 25% off beer kits at wilko
I'd like to know if it's still on in store too, was going to pop in on the weekend.
Re: 25% off beer kits at wilko
Still on in Crossgates Leeds store.
Picked up a Red Cab Sav 30btl kit, White Pinot Grigot 30btl kit, Delicate Pilsner and some bottle caps, all 25% off on the receipt.
They don't sell their ciders or the mexican kit instore there so back to full price if they don't have them on the aisles in your local branch.
Going to try the pilsner kit with a Safbrew Safale T-58 I've got and golden syrup if I am lazy, or if I'm careful have a try at a homemade on the hob candi sugar experiment.
Loving the better weather and lighter evenings for being able to step out the backdoor to sterilise with more space and using the backyard tap.
Hope you get lucky this weekend with your bargains and happy brewing...

Sheffield took all their sale signs and 25% signs down

Re: 25% off beer kits at wilko
Guys the deal is still on as it runs until at least the middle of May
Looking on the web site seems like a technical glitch I think as some lines are showing 25%off others not. Will have a word when I am back in the office tomorrow. Apologies to all.

Hi All
i was correct there has been a technical issue , the in store discounts are now applying unfortunately the web ones are still being worked on and i am being told these should be in place Friday morning all being well . I will get confirmation of the web being okay in the morning and will let you know .
Apologies for the technical issues , but rest assured the deal will be back on the web ASAP, meantime if you are desperate to get something going this weekend , and you are local to a store the the discount will be taken off at the till.

Free delivery on all orders between now and 5th May from looks of their site, so that should help those out in the sticks save a penny (wait until website shows the 25% sale again though)
Re: 25% off beer kits at wilko
Website up and running again with the offer --apologies to all --Gremlin found in the system now bottled and left to mature !!

Re: 25% off beer kits at wilko
I ordered 2 tins of Coopers English Bitter last night and got the discount. £10.50 a tin
Tried an already brewed batch last night. I bottled 6 pints and barreled the rest. Had one of the bottles and was impressed
Made it with 1kg of Muntons beer enhancer.

Re: 25% off beer kits at wilko
Well had a busy 2 weekends --spring bank one had a go at knocking up some beer crates along the lines of those on this forum ( thanks for the ideas and pics guys they were a big help .... and managed to make 3 so far out of a couple of pallets , good enough to store my bottled stocks in not luxury finish but enough to do the job ...
This weekend put Wilko Light Pilsne finished OG of 1008 into King keg plus 2 Tap a draft containers and a couple of 1pint bottles to do 2nd ferm and then condition , PLUS 32 pints of Wherry that had fallen to OG of 1004 so that's looking very promising , although they did not half froth up when filling the bottles
so maybe some potential bottle bombs primed
All protected in buckets and lids on top so lets see what the next 5 days brings in the bathroom ! lol
Just got 4.5 gallons of red wine to bag and that's it for now.... maybe next weekend will start another beer kit but need to restock on bottles 1st
Hope you all had a great brewing weekend too

Cheers Wherryman,
That's quite some sale, 2 months of 25% off, 5th June means another payday into the bargain too. Looks like a couple more pilsner kits and a red wine to stock up for the summer. The Cabernet Sauvingon is fantastic if you have the patience to leave it, once its hit a month its lost the 'homebrew' characteristics, got a 1 litre bottle that is now 2 months old, don't think it will last much longer.
Has anyone tried brewing the pils kit very short like the Brewferm kits? I generally brew all lagers to around to 19 or 20 litres, but think I might experiment and go to about 12 litres like the Brewferm kit suggests...
