When you say heavy handed did you just dump them in after using your ganja scales to weigh them???? My recipes follow the time honoured pinch of this handful that oh sod it chuck them all in approach. ELC rules ....well guidelines

I wasn't saying it's a bad idea...just remember that your kit's pre-hopped while their malted barley isn't...so you're hopping on top of hops

I don`t think of things like pre-hopped and such like, I just bung `em all in the FV and wait for the stuff to make me BEER!


I might fail one day taking this approach to Brewing but what the hell!

Dry hopped today with 10g Progress and 10g Bramling Cross. I will leave it for at least another week and then cold crash for a few days and bottle...smells nice at the moment.

Bottled mine the other week.must say it dint taste to clever out the fv.got bottles inside to carb for a few week then out in the shed

Bottled this yesterday; 55grms brown sugar for about 17l of beer.
32 500ml bottles, very clear after cold crashing and tasted very bitter...in a good way.
