Sugar Question

I have currently got some muntons yorkshire bitter ready for barreling its hydrometer reading is at 1006 and has been for 2 days so my question is put the sugar in the barrel dry or disolved in some boiled water, or none at all and just use my co2 bottle to pressure the keg. my first beer was a disaster.i want this one to go right. any tips are wecome.

thanks DaaB just another quicky should i and finings to the beer before or after racking off...?
