how long to prime

barreled some john bull bitter yesterday, now upstaires in the warm priming, can someone tell me how long i leave it to prime for, or is it just till it comes out of the barrel with a fair bit of presure behind it

I keep it in the hot press (22-24C) for 2-3 weeks. However, I'll start drinking it after one week but would consider it a bit green.
