Munton's IPA - first taste of my first brew

Post by drbell » Sun Feb 24, 2008 5:57 pm

I have added a new post on my blog for anyone interested in the results of popping open the first bottle of my very first home brewed beer.

It was only 10 days after bottling. The results were disappointing but perhaps not unexpected at this stage.

Full details here: http://bellsbeer.wordpress.com/

Thanks

Iank

Sorry to hear that, though as you say it's very early days, so things can only get better.
I must say I like your labels though :)

Thanks for the encouraging comments. I'm keeping everything crossed and will report back in a couple of weeks (maybe one ;-))

That is very early for a bottled beer. One week at ferment temp then cool for 1 week for every 10 points of OG is recommended. So don't worry at this early stage about the condition of your beer. Also yeast will drop out over this period.
