Wort aeration

Post by PeteH » Tue Feb 26, 2008 1:15 pm

Should the aeration of the wort be done before or after the yeast/yeast starter is added, or does it not matter. I have always done it before but just read Daabs Brupacks kit instructions which say to do it afterwards.
Cheers.

As the master DaaB says, but either way you try i attach my plastic paddle to the good old black and decker drill!, aerating in no time, and a lot easier, SWMBO isint keen as the kitchen floor gets a bit messy

Put a small pluggable hole in the bucket lid and put the paddle through that then you'll not get ANY splashing over the kitchen
