Hi there, this is my first post so not sure whether i'm in the right area.I'm just in the process of finishing my first home brew now i was not expecting it to be nice at all, i expected failure to be honest. But now i've hit a little prob , my fermentation should be complete but my Lager ( forgive me i know, i usually drink bitter) is sweet and clear with a taste like becks, but there is a distinct water taste to the palet.
not sure what i did wrong should i leave it another week.
any tips would be greatly apprieciated.

ok you'll be pleased to know that it actually turned out good quality pint that was lovely and smooth.was also actually quite strong as after 5 pints my mate said his vision was on the way out.
was so impressed have now got my bitter on the rock and roll this time using 700g dme and 300g sugar, hope this will work ?
and have managed to acquire a wine kit free of charge to, so that will keep the missus happy.
