first time larger FLAT / help

hi this is my first time / i bought a kit from morrisons / brewed it for ten days / then put it into another container for a further three days / then bottled it with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar / that was a week ago / cracked one open tonight / couldnt wait / it tastes quite nice but it is flat , and i mean flat
? have i opened it too early / im not put off by this i will put another on this week / but if anybody could help me with this problem / thanks mark

You say you bottled it with 1/2 teaspoon sugar. I guess that was per bottle...

What bottles did you use? What size?
