Made up a Geordie Bitter Kit with Geordie Beer Enhancer 1kg and 250g Demerara sugar.
Its had 13 days in the fermenter.
OG 1.038 (made it with a bit too much water - added 22 litres rather than up to the mark on the fermenter)
FG 1.008
% 3.9ish
Instructions say that it should reach 1.005 or below, so i am a little high but i'm hoping the spraymalt part of the beer enhancer accounts for that.
Is this safe to bottle in 2 litre PETS? or should i wait, next time i can bottle is Tuesday which puts it at 16 days in the primary.
For priming i'm thinking 1 teaspoon of Demerara per 2ltr Pet.
Kegged my last bitter and have only primed bottles with Apple Juice (Turbo Cider lover).

Geordie Bitter Kit
16 days in primary shouldn't be an issue, I read somewhere that someone left their brew in a primary for 3 weeks and it was fine (just runs the risk of dead yeast screwing with your flavours).
I kegged my last Geordie bitter at about 1.010 and it was very drinkable (my brother will agree to that as well), so bottling at 1.008 will be fine, and as your using PET's and not glass then beer bombs are not an issue for you
so prime away

thanks cyberpaddy and bigster.
Will probably let it run the extra few days then just to see if it drops, then its bottle away even if its stayiny where it was.
Very glad that PETS are less dangerous than glass as if i had smaller (glass) bottles my cupboard would be full AND dangerous, now its just full.

I would keep a watch on your PET bottles for a few days, if the pressure builds up they can go a funny shape at the top! I had to vent mine a couple of times, and a couple were so distorted the tops wouldn't seal so I had to change them.
Good luck with your brew, I'm sure it will be OK, most times I have found I can still drink my mistakes!
