Recomended kit..

Hi All,

If anyones interested in trying something different - I'd recommend Brewferm's "Framboos"...
I got this kit slightly below full price as it was a couple of weeks past its sell by date. I just used a new safeale yeast in it and half bag of brewing sugar as per instructions...
It steadily got down to 1010 (i had to rouse it during & add a bit of yeast nutrient)..but it got there in the end...
Its only been conditioning for 4-5 days and i tried it last night out of curiousity
Im really pleased with the results and plan to do more from this manufacturer...
Its a cut above some of the other 1.5kg kits ive done.
Ive got a Nelsons revenge thats getting close so, im planning on leaving Framboo's alone and letting some of my mates try it through the summer during some BBQs...
Ive got a mate at work thats a member of CAMRA and takes interest in my shananigans with HB, i cant wait for his opinion on this one!..
Anyone thats done other kits in this range, I'd be interested to hear about any other recomended kits...

Again, credtit to this place - as ive used tips & techniques to gradually improve which ive picked up here from other members and its paying off!.
This was my 1st kit in my modified FV where from this place, i got the idea to add a tap to it - its made life loads easier!
+ the advice to use new yeast and reduce the gamble of the kit yeast performing poorly due to being out of date...a quid and half well spent!

Cheers
Doughboy

Ive made the Triple from this company and with the addition of light spraymalt it has improved the flovour no end , takes ages to mature though ,Ive only tried one bottle and it was a bit green , promising signs though - especially if you are a fan of strong Belgian abbey style beer.

Thank you for the heads-up; I'd looked and pondered but never ordered. I'll give it a go!
