To Sugar or Not To Sugar

Hi All new to home bresing only on my 3 batch, I have brought Woodforde's Admiral's Reserve and have noticed it dosn't mention adding sugar. is this correct or should I add the 1KG of Sugar as other kits have mentioned e.g. the Largeer that came with teh kit I brought from Wilko's

generally 2 tin or 3kg kits don't need sugar it is the cheaper 1.8kg or 1 tin ones that require it.
