Hi, first post! :) (hope i did it right!)
Ok, so i've just bought a lager making kit. Havent started yet, but i've read through the instructions.
Now i've realsied that you need to refridgerate for 4+ weeks. this may be a problem as i only have a tiny litle shared fridge! is there anything i can do, or should i just not even bother?!
cheers

You don't need to refridgerate!
Once primary fermentation is complete (3-7 days) transfer to a barrel or bottles with priming sugars. Leave for a week somewhere warm (18-20 degC) then store in a COOL place for four weeks for conditioning (under the stairs or in the garage is ideal.)
If you have a fridge then great, I don't and it makes no difference to me.
Hope this helps
Kevin

All the brews i've done, lager, ale, cider all say leave for 3-4 weeks to condition when moved to a cool place. The longer you leave it the better the results.
