What to brew next? Small kits

Post by Phild » Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:39 pm

Hello all,
I bottled some Coopers lager 2 weeks ago which I want to leave conditioning for a few months before I start guzzling it down, and I want to brew a smaller kit that isn't 40 pints as I don't have the room/bottles .

I was thinking of doing an ale next. Golden or Dark, I'm easy. Can anyone recommend any small kits?

Hope everyone has a good weekend

Cheers

Phild

Brewferm tend to be in the 12-15 litre range....I've only just finished bottling an Ambiorix and amn't a taste expert, though.

Brupaks do a range called Beers of the World which are 20 pints, theres some good styles, they used to be about a tenner, you get a hop bag and speciality grains.

...or to broaden the choices available, you could choose a two can 40 pint kit and brew one can (20 pints) at a time and brew the other can at a later date!

If you do brew one can at a time be sure to use the complete sachet of yeast and buy a fresh one for the second can.
