Wherry ?

Looking at pump clips on ebay, woodfordes Wherry proper metal pump clip abv 3.8%, also in a book artical about woodfordes Wherry again 3.8.
The Wherry I brewed a while back stated 4.5% on the box, alot of people
are having problems with stuck ferms 1014 ish, which would be more around the 3.8%, not sure whether this makes any sense now after a few pints of TT, someone out there may have sussed it
