Been brewing beer since Feb08 and can still say I'm having fun.

Wouldn't go back to buying cans as the beers I'm making taste so much better.

Think I'll try a Stout next......anyone recommend one?

Cooper's Stout turns out nice.

Especially made with Dark DME and a bit of black treacle.

Another vote here for the Cooper's Stout. I've made quite a few different kit stouts, including the most recommended 'premium' ones, and I would still say the Cooper's is the best. The John Bull Masterclass Irish Stout was excellent too, if you can find anywhere that has stock left.

I've got a Munton's Mountmellick Irish Stout up next, I'll let you know how I get on.

I've done the Black Rock Miners Stout recently which was very nice. Going to try the John Bull Chocolate Stout soon (I think there's still 1 or 2 online shops you can get this), have heard that's good to.

Bought it today from my Home Brew shop £10.50, not bad.

Looking forward to getting this on the go. Will bottle a few and barrel the rest.

Which one did you get? The Cooper's or the JB Masterclass?
