Vina were making the kits, but they're not trading now. Maybe Leyland have some old stock?

See here for details.

Ah, right. I know the brewery that supplied the wort was flooded during the storms, so maybe that delayed things, and then they went bust before they managed a production run (I know they produced some prototypes, cos I tried one of them out! :=P ).

Just to bring this to the top - Vina are still trading and are looking to revive the Springhead kits. Sorry about the incorrect information I gave above - if I'd read the linked thread properly I'd have realised.

Apologies also to Simon of Vina.

EDIT: Correction - Vina have gone, but Simon the ex manager is looking to revive the kits via Richie Products.

Good to hear that someone will be picking up the baton for the Springhead kits. 8) I wonder if they'll be manufactured by Munton's too? I do hope that the concentrated wort from the brewery finds its way back into the mix.

Incidentally, is Simon now working for Ritchie, or is he thinking of setting up a kit manufacturing operation himself and distributing through them?
