Another first timer here.
Started my very first Kit about two weeks ago, which is an 'Art of Brewing Yorkshire Bitter'. Fermentation finished after 7 days so then bottled my brew. I put half a measuring teaspoon of granulated sugar in each 500ml bottle. Kept the bottles in the kitchen for 2 days which is about 20C and then after hearing stories of exploding bottles I decided to put them up in the shed out of the way of my 1 year old. Which temp is 15-18C.
I cracked a bottle open last night, after a week of conditioning, just to monitor its progress and I had mixed opinions. It tasted really good at this early stage, so i cant wait to try it in a few more weeks time. It made a slight hiss when opened but has very little bubbles. I mean I don't want it to have too many like a lager but a few more would nice.
So my questions are, will the bubbles come over time?, should I have kept them in the kitchen for longer, before they went in the shed?.
Or could it be something else. Any help would be appreciated.javascript:emoticon('
