fv leaking from lid

hi all .fv has no bubbler do i crack lid open for a few days .as its ouzing out and dont want to pee off shmbo. seen that somewhere shmbo is that right

I always uncrack the lid a fraction and have never suffered leakage - SWMBO hasn't had cause to complain yet (I'm sure it'll come).

I always place a towel under the fv for this very reason
