hiya all,

My girlfriedn kindly picked me up 18 bottles of carlsburg in tescos for a fiver but now im wondering can i use these to bottle my brew?? :?

From what I've picked up, so long as they aren't damaged (check for scratches and the like) they should be fine - just don't go bottling until someone more experienced pipes in!

I've read that you should try and use brown bottles and from memory aren't Carlsberg bottles green? Something to do with light spoiling your ale. Also, don't know if the bottles for throwaway stubbies would take much fizz in the beer??

However, I'll second the post above and hopefully someone more experienced will advise...!
