course they can, they just are a little harder to work with as they quickly turn to mush, you'll need a fine mesh hopbag or something, but there are advantages such as much easier to store.

thats great news :-) do you use like the the hop bag you get in brupak kits?? or is there a bit more to it than that??? also how much do you use???? i dont want ruin the brew. thanks again for any help

it depends on the kit, but something with a good aroma could be steeped in one of the cans like the Brupaks method for 20-30 mins, somewhere between 20g and 50g would be ok, as steeping dosen't add any bitterness points.

You could try Cascade, Stryrians, Goldings, Fuggles, or Amarillo, I have found all these are pleasant when steeped.

The bag you'll need will have to be close mesh something like this is just the ticket
