Lost Instructions - Hambleton Bard Supreme Lager

Post by craigmtc » Wed Oct 29, 2008 9:19 pm

I am brewing Hambleton Bard Supreme Lager, it has fermented and cleared and is now ready for secondary fermentation etc. problem is I have lost the instructions. I have racked it off into a King Keg top tap, fitted the float etc, and now need to add the syrup for secondary fermentation, but don't know th equantaties of sugary and water, and also at what point to gad and how much CO2 to add.

Advice would be appreciated.

I did post earlier on the same bew being fermented in three days, it seems to be fine at this stage.

Cheers

Craig

Have a look at the fouth paragraph from the bottom of this page.

You shouldn't need to add CO2 until you've drunk some of the beer - once the flow from the tap starts to get a bit sluggish, squirt a bit in till it runs OK again.
